Job Overview

This position is for a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) located in a state-of-the-art facility that manages more than 100,000 patient visits annually. As one of the busiest trauma centers in the country and the only Level I trauma center in the region, the ED serves a diverse patient population and provides comprehensive emergency care.

Job Duties

• Provide high-quality assessments, treatments, and care for patients in the Emergency Department.
• Manage and assist with the care of boarder patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all state and facility policies and procedures.

Work Schedule

Shifts will be rotating and may include weekends. The schedule may also involve floating to different units and covering holidays as needed.

Job Requirements

• Current RN License in New York.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Must have previous travel ER experience.

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association only)
• ACLS (American Heart Association only)
• NIHSS certification required
