Job Description

This position is for a Level II Registered Nurse with a focus on providing competent care based on established standards in a telemetry setting. The nurse will play an integral role in promoting clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research based on evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols.
• Participate in nursing assessments and plan patient care accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Assume expanded roles, including charge nurse and preceptor responsibilities.
• Engage in committee member activities to improve department practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and clinical developments in telemetry care.

Requirements

• Telemetry experience is required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in New York (NY) is mandatory.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only).

Schedule

This position requires rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. The nurse may also be required to participate in on-call duties, providing flexibility in patient care coverage.
