Description
Position Overview
This is a float pool position that requires flexibility to work across multiple departments and locations within the region.
Shifts and Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (3 shifts of 12 hours)
- Weekend Requirement: Work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Essential Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, adhering to established protocols and procedures. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Conducting patient assessments and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborating and communicating effectively with the healthcare team
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona nursing license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant nursing role
- Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred
Patient Care Ratio
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 6:1, ensuring a manageable workload to provide quality care.
