Description
General Information
We are seeking experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurses to join our team. The facility features 2 Cath Labs and 2 Hybrid peripheral/OR labs. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in coronary procedures, complex PCI, and peripheral interventions.

Patient Ratios
Registered Nurse to patient ratio: 1:1
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
Required Education
- Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in South Dakota
Required Skills
- Peripheral IV skills
- Critical patient assessment skills
- Administration of vasoactive and sedation drugs
- Sterile technique
- Air management
- Laser and Lithotripsy Atherectomy
- Experience with cardiac devices such as IABP, Impella, Rotoblator, and balloon pump
Support on the Unit
A manager or supervisor is available on-site. A charge nurse is present Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Charting System
Experience with EPIC is required, and familiarity with Epic Cupid is preferred. The facility is transitioning to a new system.
Orientation
The orientation program consists of 4 days with 10-hour shifts.
Scheduling
- Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend
- Day shift on-call: Monday through Friday, 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, with weekend call from Saturday 6:00 AM to Sunday 6:00 PM
- Night shift: Guaranteed 12 hours per shift, with a variable rotation of 1 week of nights followed by 3 weeks of days
- Holiday expectations: may need to work 1 holiday per assignment
- Time off requests require manager approval
