Job Overview

This position is for a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) located in [City, State]. The facility is recognized as a state-of-the-art trauma center, managing over 100,000 visits each year, making it one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. The ED provides care for a diverse patient population and is responsible for assisting with boarder patients.

Work Schedule

• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Rotating day, evening, and night shifts
• Blocked weekends scheduled
• Floating, holiday, on-call, and callback duties as per unit needs

Job Duties

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and challenging environment. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering treatments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Active RN License in New York
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the Emergency Department
• Telemetry experience is required
• Prior travel Emergency Room experience is essential

Certifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
