Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

Join our dynamic Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Holding Area team, where nurses provide specialized care across the continuum of procedural services. The Holding Area serves as a critical hub for pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure recovery, and Phase I/II PACU-level care for patients with coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide education to patients and their families.
• Support procedural interventions with attention to detail and professionalism.
• Monitor hemodynamic status in real-time and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Oversee moderate sedation recovery, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Manage acute and non-acute clinical situations effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Commit to exceptional patient outcomes through high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Recent experience in Cath and EP Lab preferred.

Schedule

This position requires 40 hours per week, comprising four 10-hour shifts, primarily during straight night hours, with occasional weekend shifts depending on unit needs.
