Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

Join our dynamic Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Holding Area team, where nurses provide specialized care across the continuum of procedural services. The Holding Area serves as a critical hub for pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure recovery, and Phase I/II PACU-level care for patients with various cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments to ensure readiness for procedures.
• Provide patient education regarding procedural processes and expected outcomes.
• Support medical team during procedures with appropriate clinical interventions.
• Monitor hemodynamic status of patients before and after procedures.
• Oversee moderate sedation recovery and ensure patient safety.
• Manage acute and non-acute clinical situations in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment.
• Strive for exceptional patient outcomes through quality care.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Recent experience in Cath and EP Lab preferred.
• Telemetry experience is required.

Schedule

Expect a 40-hour work week consisting of four 10-hour shifts with a rotating schedule, including occasional weekends based on unit needs.
