Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Join our dynamic Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Holding Area team, where nurses provide specialized care across the continuum of procedural services. The Holding Area serves as a critical hub for pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure recovery, and Phase I/II PACU-level care for patients with coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide education.
• Offer procedural support and ensure patient safety throughout the process.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and manage moderate-sedation recovery.
• Address acute and non-acute clinical situations in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Commit to achieving exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Recent experience in a Cath and EP Lab preferred.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, structured as four 10-hour shifts. The role includes a day/night rotation, along with occasional weekends based on unit needs.
