Position Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the MS/Telemetry unit is accountable for providing comprehensive patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state regulations and healthcare policies. The role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in ensuring the safe delivery of care.
Job Details
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Nights (7p - 7:30a), 3/12's
- Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule
- Float Pool Position: Willingness to float between multiple locations within the region is essential.
Essential Responsibilities
- Accountability for patient care delivery using the Nursing Process.
- Demonstration of leadership and critical thinking skills in patient care planning.
- Maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
- Delegating patient care priorities based on the education and experience of the nursing staff.
- Providing supervision and direction to personnel delivering patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Nursing License in Arizona.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Preferred experience with Cerner EMR.
Patient Care Ratio
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 6:1.
Scrub Color
Scrubs may be of any color.
