Job Overview

The Level II Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards. This role includes assuming expanded responsibilities, which may include acting as a preceptor and serving on various committees. The RN will operate under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, focusing on clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and engaging in research and evidence-based practice.

Schedule

The position requires flexibility with scheduling, including day, evening, and night shifts, as well as weekends and holidays. On-call and callback duties may also be necessary, depending on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg experience
• Telemetry experience required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (NIHSS)
