We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in telemetry, stroke care, and critical thinking to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Name: Stroke & Brain
Number of Beds: 16
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Staffing Description: Availability of unit secretaries and techs
Type of Equipment: Welch Allyn VS Machines, Hoyer lift, Sarah Steady Lift, Telemetry, Bladder Scanner, Doppler
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: 3 shifts/week; 3-4 weekend shifts
Floating Policy: Float to any area where competency is demonstrated

Qualifications

Must Have: NIHSS, Stroke experience, ACLS certification
Requested Skill Set: Experience with cardiac drips, telemetry, and neurology care
Advanced Skills Required: Cardiac drips, basic dysthymia management
Certifications Required: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS

Dress Code

Required uniform: Navy Blue

This MRI department is amazing! The nurses there are awesome! My experience there was exceptional! The patient care was outstanding!!

Cons

The pay was the only thing that was lacking. But that is what it was! No regrets about working there! Also the housing situation was not great. But that has nothing to do with the facility!
