Patient Ratios: 4:1

Scheduling Requirements: 3 shifts/week; 3-4 weekend shifts

Unit Specifics

Unit Staffing Description: Available unit secretaries and tech support
Type of Equipment: Welch Allyn VS Machines, Hoyer lift, Sarah Steady Lift, Telemetry, Bladder Scanner, Doppler
Documentation System: Meditech
Floating Policy: Agency and contract staff may be floated to areas based on demonstrated competency

Patient Experience Requirements

Telemetry experience
Stroke care experience

Qualifications

Required Certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS
Requested Skill Set: Cardiac drips, telemetry, and neurology experience
Advanced Skills Needed: Cardiac drips, basic dysrhythmia management

Dress Code

Required uniform: Navy Blue Scrubs

This MRI department is amazing! The nurses there are awesome! My experience there was exceptional! The patient care was outstanding!!

Cons

The pay was the only thing that was lacking. But that is what it was! No regrets about working there! Also the housing situation was not great. But that has nothing to do with the facility!
