General Information
- Number of Beds: 33 rooms, accommodating up to 49 patients with some semi-private rooms.
- Number of Staff: 62 staff members.
- Day Shift Staff: 2 charge nurses, 2 technicians, 6-7 registered nurses.
- Night Shift Staff: 1 charge nurse, 1.5 technicians, 5-6 registered nurses.
- Patient Ratios: 4:1 during the day, 5:1 at night.
- Type of Equipment: Telemetry monitoring.
- EMR: Meditech.
Qualifications
Hiring Profile
- Required Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital Med/Surg experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with spinal cord injury patients.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Typical Procedures
- Wound care, including management of surgical flap patients.
- Occasional bowel program and light burn care for low acuity burn patients.
