Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg / Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will possess strong telemetry and neuro experience, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MedSurg and Telemetry units.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, interpret telemetry readings, and assist with neuro assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness practices.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures while ensuring a safe and clean environment.
Schedule
- Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- 36 hours per week, 3 shifts of 12 hours
- Every other weekend and holiday rotations required
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts RN License
- BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
- Previous experience in telemetry and neuro nursing required
- Meditech experience preferred
Additional Information
Float to similar units may be required based on staffing needs. A telemetry competency assessment will be conducted on the first day of orientation.
