Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

Join our dynamic Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Holding Area team, where nurses provide specialized care across the continuum of procedural services. The Holding Area serves as a critical hub for pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure recovery, and Phase I/II PACU-level care for patients with various cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide education regarding their procedures.
• Offer procedural support and ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond to acute clinical situations.
• Oversee moderate-sedation recovery and manage both acute and non-acute clinical scenarios.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment committed to exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Telemetry experience is essential.
• Recent experience in the Cath and EP Lab is preferred.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with shifts consisting of four 10-hour evening shifts. Occasional weekend shifts may be required based on unit needs.
