Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

Join our dynamic Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Holding Area team, where nurses provide specialized care across the continuum of procedural services. The Holding Area serves as a critical hub for pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure recovery, and Phase I/II PACU-level care for patients with various cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide education to patients and their families.
• Support procedural activities and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and manage moderate-sedation recovery.
• Respond to acute and non-acute clinical situations in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Schedule

This position requires a 40-hour work week consisting of four 10-hour shifts, with rotating days and occasional weekend coverage based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Telemetry experience.
• Recent experience in Cath and EP Lab preferred.
