Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will work daytime shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced Cath Lab team.
Unit Information
This position is part of a specialized Cath Lab featuring:
- 3 Philips labs
- A dedicated team of 20 staff members
- Operating day shifts with 3 teams from Monday to Friday
- On-call night and weekend coverage as required
Staffing typically operates within a ratio of 4-person teams for certain cases and 3 main teams for others. The Cath Lab is equipped with Philips C-arms and utilizes Merge Vericis for the hemo system. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are managed through Epic.
Responsibilities
The Cath Lab Technologist will perform a variety of procedures, including but not limited to:
- Electrophysiology (EP)
- Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Neurointerventional
- Vascular procedures
- Cardiac catheterizations
Candidates must have experience in at least three of these service lines.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess the following:
- Required: RCIS/ARRT credentials for techs, along with BLS and ACLS certifications
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Preferred: Experience in four service lines
The successful candidate will be a flexible, self-starter who can readily take direction and effectively collaborate with a team.
Dress Code
Scrubs will be provided for this position. Candidates should adhere to the required dress code as per unit guidelines.
