Teacher of the Visually Impaired needed for the remainder of the school year for a regional position that could easily be extended to next school year. Position is available immediately through 6/11/26. 

*You'll work full-time, 39 hours per week, now through the end of the school year, mid-June. Opportunities to renew your contract for SY 2026-27 is likely if performance expecations are met

*You'll do some regional travel within the district, mileage will be paid and if you like variety and working with a variety of staff members, this is potentially a great fit!

*Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred

*Rates are competitive and based on experience. Rates range from $45-50/hour, per diem rates also available for travelers. Insurance available day one!

Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree in education or special education, a state-issued teaching license, and specialized certification or a master’s degree in visual impairment.

*Key requirements include training in Braille literacy, anatomy of the eye, functional vision assessments, and specialized instructional strategies for the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC).

Travel Farther Together Referral Program: Payout is tiered. The $1,200 per clinician reward applies only after you’ve referred 10 or more clinicians who successfully contract with Ardor. Payouts are split: 50% when the referred clinician starts, and 50% when they reach the midpoint of their assignment.

License, Certification & CE Assistance: Reimbursements and assistance are offered on a case-by-case basis. Approval must be documented by your recruiting team and is not guaranteed for every clinician or assignment.
