Travel RN Opportunity – OR Complex

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri

Role: RN – OR
Number of Openings: 2
Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (Monday - Thursday)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: No weekends, no holidays
Call Requirements: None
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Unit Beds: 12
EMR System: EPIC
Dress Code: Black scrubs

Job Description

Provide direct patient care for post-operative patients who had surgery during the day (not a PACU position).
Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize care and comfort.
Work in a fast-paced environment requiring navigation of multiple computer systems.
Deliver quality care in a post-op setting.

Skills & Experience

Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Experience with surgical/OR patients preferred.

Additional Information

Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (exemptions require approval).
No float requirements.
