Job Opportunity: RN Ortho - Nashville, Tennessee

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: December 15 (Non-negotiable)
Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ACLS (American Heart Association required)
• BLS (American Heart Association required)
• NIH Certification
• Nursys Verification (within 30 days prior to start)
• Current Nursing License and Primary Source Verification (within 30 days prior to start)
• Driver's License/State ID (valid, must match address on file)
• Professional References: At least two professional references required prior to first assignment

Required Onboarding & Testing

• Ascension OFAC Screening
• Influenza Vaccine or Mask Requirement (Flu season Oct 1 - Mar 31; exemptions accepted with mask)
• Ascension Color Vision Test (completed prior to start, updated every 3 years)
• Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA; minimum 80% score, max 2 attempts)
• Ascension EKG Exam (passing score of 80%, max 2 attempts)
• Ascension Onboarding Education Attestation (6 hours pre-hire training)
• Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding (done onsite)
• Ascension Nova StatStrip Pre-Hire Modules
• Ascension Cerner Test-Out (test results and training checklist with signed attestation)
• Ascension Skills Checklist (clinical skills, updated annually)
• Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen (within 30 days prior to start, updated annually)
• Ascension Criminal Background Check (including SSN trace, employment verification, OIG, National Sex Offender; updated annually)
• Ascension EPLS Check (within 90 days of start)
• Ascension Education Verification (within 90 days of start)
• Ascension Employment Verification (past 7 years, updated annually)
• Ascension Confirmation of Assignment (provided at start and with extensions)

Required Personal Health History & Immunizations

• MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted
• Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider; no declinations accepted
• Tdap: Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted
• Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination
• Fit Test: Required for all travelers; preferred prior to start, can be done onsite
• Positive PPD: Negative chest X-ray within 1 year and annual TB questionnaire (if applicable)
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA: 1st PPD within 1 year, 2nd within 30 days of start, or negative IGRA within 90 days
• Influenza Vaccine: Flu season Oct 1 - Mar 31; exemptions accepted with mask
• Health Statement: Statement of good health or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
