Travel RN - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel Contract

Position Overview

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Operating Room (OR)
• Shifts: Days, 4x10 hour shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: As needed
• Call Requirements: None specified
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Years of Experience Required: 3+ years (higher value between 2+ and 3+ applied)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified as required

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize care and comfort
• Work in a fast-paced OR environment
• Navigate multiple computer systems (EMR: EPIC)
• Deliver quality care in surgical/OR setting

• Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Requirements

• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (exemptions must be approved)
