Travel RN - Critical Care

Position Details

• Specialty: Critical Care
• Shift: Nights
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours (3 shifts of 12 hours)
• Weekend Hours: As needed
• Call Requirements: None
• Number of Openings: 1
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or Missouri temporary work permit
• ACLS certification (or complete within 12 months)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in critical care
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card (or complete within probation period)

Skills & Experience

• Experience with critical care patients including post-stroke care
• Ability to titrate cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol)
• Experience with Bipaps and Airvos devices
• Ability to recognize deteriorating patients
• Experience with ventilated compressors
• Float experience in Med Surg and Tele units preferred
• Medical calculation skills preferred

• Number of Beds: 19
• Patient Ratios: Average 2-3 patients per nurse
• EMR System: EPIC
• Patient Types: Medical, Basic Cardiac, Neurology
