Registered Nurse (RN) - Temporary Position

Location: Robbinsdale, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) provides holistic care to patients and families across the lifespan, including neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults. Responsibilities include:

• Performing independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions
• Executing the Standards of Nursing Practice: assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Developing and revising patient care plans
• Coordinating care among disciplines and delegating activities appropriately
• Participating in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices
• Defining, implementing, and improving practice standards and the care environment
• Promoting exceptional patient care

Duties and required clinical skills may vary based on the assigned unit.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of Critical Care experience (ICU/ED) – Required
• Previous PACU experience – Highly preferred
• Experience with Pediatric to Geriatric patient populations – Required
• Trauma Level I experience – Required
• Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience – Required

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required

Licensure

• Valid Minnesota RN license – Required

Additional Submission Requirements

• Current skills checklist (updated within 1 year) relevant to specialty
• Work history documentation
• Two supervisory references with dates of employment
• Candidates not eligible to work in the USA must note this on their profile
• All Return to Office (RTO) requests must be submitted with application

Additional Information

• EMR system used: Epic
• Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs
• MN DHS Net Study & Fingerprinting required for all patient-facing roles
• Strict compliance deadline for credential submission: 4 pm on the Wednesday before start date (no exceptions)
