Travel RN Opportunity – Obstetrics (LDRP)

Location: Perryville, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Obstetrics (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum - LDRP)
• Shift: Night (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours (3x12 hour shifts), occasional overtime available but no 48-hour requests
• Weekend Hours: Minimal, only to cover core staff PTO
• Call Requirements: None
• Number of Openings: 1

Experience & Certifications

• Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Obstetrics (based on traveler skill strength)
• Required Certifications:

  • BLS (required)
  • ACLS (preferred)
• Must Have Skills:

  • BLS
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • Strong labor background
• Preferred Skills:

  • Labor & Delivery experience
  • ACLS
  • Fetal monitoring
• Float Requirements: As needed within scope; no medical unit patient assignments
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

• Number of Beds: 7 total rooms (including 2 labor rooms)
• Patient Ratios: 2 nurses per shift; approximately 8 deliveries per month
• EMR System: EPIC
• Equipment: Typical for L&D unit

• Independent, confident nurses who are comfortable working in a small setting are a good fit
• Minimal weekend coverage, no call, and a supportive team environment

Additional Notes

• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (exemptions require approval)
• Facility issues scrubs; specific scrub color required
