Job Summary

- Role Overview:
Responsible for overall management of patients including direct care with designated visit productivity standards. Plans, organizes, and directs patient care services for assigned caseload in compliance with current standards and regulations. Coordinates interdisciplinary team to implement patient care plans, manages visit utilization, and controls expenses. May assist with agency-wide orientation, competency evaluations, and clinical staff consultation.

- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- CCRN (Critical Care RN)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) – typically for Labor & Delivery
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
- NIH Stroke Certification
- IV Certification (as applicable)
- Other certifications may be required based on position specifics
Background and Compliance Requirements
- 7-year background check within 6 months of start, including:
- Social Security trace with all aliases
- County searches for last 7 years
- Nationwide sex offender search (within 90 days of start)
- Education verification (highest level achieved; BSN preferred)
- FACIS Level 3 screening within 2 weeks of start and monthly thereafter
- EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, OFAC Sanctions List (if FACIS III not available)
- Motor Vehicle Report (required for all candidates at this facility)
- Employment application with full 7 years of work history (no gaps)
- Work history verification for up to 7 years
- Professional references (Aya requirement, not client required)
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start (must clear for work)
- Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually (exceptions apply)
- Adult Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days, renewed annually
- Immunizations or titers for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (series or declination)
- Varicella
- Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids per CA law)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination during flu season (Nov 1 - Apr 30)
- Respiratory safety clearance (not required for some roles)
- Color blind exam if applicable (in-person only)
