Description

Job Opportunity: MedSurg Burn Center Nurse

Location: Jackson, Mississippi
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of solid Med/Tele experience (burn unit experience is a plus but not required)
Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS - AHA or APEX certifications required
EPIC charting proficiency required
Flu vaccine required by November 15 (medical exemptions allowed with documented evidence)
Fingerprint background check required (remote process takes 10 days; in-person available locally prior to start)

Work Details

Shift: 12-hour nights
Patient ratio: Typically 1:3, maximum 1:4 in certain situations
Holiday coverage: At least one holiday shift coverage requested to avoid working all holidays; flexible scheduling

Additional Information

Must be willing to work within a 50-mile radius of the facility
ASAP start preferred
