Job Opportunity: RN Telemetry I (Travel)

Location: Waco, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition appropriately.
  • Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Execute physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
  • Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Required Experience

  • Specialty: RN Telemetry I

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
  • Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap: Valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
  • Positive PPD or Negative Chest X-Ray and annual TB Questionnaire (updated annually)
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA within required timeframes
  • Fit Test: Required annually (preferred prior to start)
  • 12 Panel Drug Screen: Within 30 days prior to start and updated annually

Background & Verification

  • Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and other checks within 30 days prior to assignment
  • Employment Verification (past 7 years)
  • Education Verification (within 90 days prior to start)
  • Professional References: At least two professional references required
  • Confirmation of Assignment documentation

  • Must complete various onboarding and attestation requirements prior to or at start of assignment.
