Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Schedule: 2 weekends per month
• Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • California Registered Nurse (CA RN) license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse

Background Checks & Verifications

• 7-year background check including:

• Employment history verification: Full 7 years of work history required with no gaps; verification of up to 7 years of employment
• References: 2 professional references required (Aya requirement, not client)

Certifications & Competencies

• Must have current certifications:

  • ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA or ARC approved)
  • NIH Stroke Certification
• Competency exams as applicable (medication test/pharmacology, dysrhythmia/EKG, unit-specific competency exams)
• Other certifications may be required depending on position (e.g., CCRN, TNCC, NRP, EFM, CPI)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start (must clear for work)
• Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually (specific mask types accepted)
• Immunizations and titers required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days, renewed annually
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B series or signed declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov 1 - Apr 30) or signed declination
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids)

Facility Specific Requirements

  • Regulatory Orientation for Contracted Workers
