Job Opportunity: RN Behavioral Health (Travel)

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Night RN


Required Specialty and Experience

Health and Immunization Requirements

  • MMR: Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
  • Fit Test: Required annually (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite)
  • Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); declinations accepted with mask requirement
  • Positive PPD or Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire (updated annually)
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) within required timeframes
  • Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap: Valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
  • Health Statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
  • Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen (within 30 days prior to start, updated annually)

Professional Documentation and Verification

  • Resume/Profile submission required
  • At least two professional references prior to first assignment
  • Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry (within 30 days prior to first assignment)
  • EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check within 90 days prior to start
  • Education Verification relevant to clinical work (within 90 days prior to start)
  • Confirmation of Assignment documentation upon initial assignment and updates with extensions
  • Employment Verification for the past seven years (updated annually)
  • Ascension Badge Photo (headshot with white or blue background, no alterations)
