Job Opportunity: RN ICU - Massachusetts (Oak Bluffs)
Position Details
- Specialty: RN ICU
- Location: Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
- Shift: 36 hours per week, Day/Night rotation, including weekend rotation
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- Housing: Shared housing available (no pets or guests allowed)
- Transportation: Car required
- Vaccination: Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30)
Experience Requirements

Required Credentials & Certifications
- Professional Licenses:
- Valid nursing license with primary source verification (NURSYS and Board of Nursing required)

- Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date (no religious exemptions)
- Influenza vaccine during flu season (no exemptions)
- MMR vaccination or proof of immunity
- TB test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot within 3 months of start date
- Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date
- Hepatitis B vaccination strongly preferred (or proof of immunity/declination)
- Tdap vaccine preferred (within 10 years)
- Background Checks:
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start
- Social Security Number trace for past 7 years
- National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start
- Other Documentation:
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience (with city & state)
- Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above)
- Skills checklist
- Candidate submission coversheet
- Confirmation of assignment/POI form upon acceptance
Additional Notes
- Shared housing requires signing a housing agreement.
- Fit testing cannot be done onsite initially; must be completed prior to start.
- Flu mist administered by pharmacy/provider accepted; self-administered flu mist not accepted.
