Job Opportunity: EP RN (Electrophysiology Registered Nurse)

Work Environment & Department

• Department: Electrophysiology (EP)
• 4 labs total, with 1 designated EP lab
• Average cases per day: 3-4
• Common patient diagnoses: A-fib, V-fib, heart block, PVCs, tachy-brady syndrome, WWP

Job Duties

• Sedate and/or manage patients in tandem with anesthesia
• Monitor patients and run Claris system
• Circulate during procedures
• Opportunity to rotate into scrub role if skilled

Schedule & Shifts

• Monday through Thursday
• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
• Call is optional: approximately 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• No holiday call required
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling; fixed schedule
• Potential floating depending on locum coverage

Orientation & Other Requirements

• Required unit and hospital orientation
• Must clock in and out at the facility
• Hospital supplied scrubs
• Previous employment with the facility requires a 6-month gap before reapplying

This position is suitable for experienced EP RNs with ACLS and BLS certifications, comfortable with conscious sedation and working in a specialized EP lab environment.
