Job Opportunity: RN ICU (LTA)

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Specialty: Registered Nurse - ICU (Neuro ICU experience required)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Prior neuro ICU experience is required.
  • Every other weekend shift required.
  • No on-call duties.
  • Block scheduling is not accommodated.
  • Ceil blue scrubs required.

  • CPI Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or MOAB De-Escalation Course (online portion prior to start, on-site portion at orientation)
  • Ascension Nova StatStrip training (pre-hire modules)

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • MMR: Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
  • Varicella: Documented proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider (no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); declinations accepted with mask requirement
  • Tdap: Valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
  • Fit Test: Required prior to start and annually (specific mask types required)
  • TB Testing: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within 1 year, and annual TB questionnaire
  • Health Statement: Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually

Background & Verification

  • Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry (within 30 days of assignment)
  • Employment Verification (past 7 years, updated annually)
  • Education Verification (within 90 days of start)
  • Professional References: At least two professional references required
