Job Opportunity: ICU Registered Nurse (Traveler) - Nights
Location: Redding, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Job Description
- Deliver safe patient care using nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within scope of practice in the ICU.
- Guide patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel while maintaining ICU standards of care.
- Responsible and accountable for assigned patients’ care.
- Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient condition, hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic results, and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to patient condition changes or treatment responses.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
- ICU experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Required Credentials & Certifications
Licenses:
- Valid nursing license (Nursys verification required at onboarding)
- Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport
Certifications:
- ACLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention training)
Testing & Exams:
- Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (minimum 80%)
- Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening (minimum 80%)
- Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80%)
- Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80%)
- Prime Skills Checklist (valid for assignment duration)
Professional Requirements:
- Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid for 2 years)
- Prime OIG exclusion check
- Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion check
- Criminal Background Check (national, within 1 year)
- Resume and 2 professional references (one from a manager or supervisor)
- Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 or agency attestation)
- Badge photo (clear headshot)

Health & Immunization Requirements

- Physical/Health Statement: Annual clearance to work, must be completed within 60 days of start
