Job Opportunity: RN Telemetry I

Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Full-time, 36 hours/week preferred; 48 hours/week considered
  • Every Other Week (EOW) schedule
  • Must have telemetry nursing experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred

Required Experience

  • Specialty: RN Telemetry I

Certifications & Licenses Required

  • MMR (proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series (proof of at least first vaccination prior to start)
  • Influenza vaccine or declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL) for 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB (specific to region)
  • Varicella vaccination or IgG titer proof
  • Physical/Health Statement within last year confirming fitness to work
  • 10 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)

Professional & Background Checks

  • Signed Code of Conduct form
  • I9 verification
  • Confidentiality and System Security Agreement
  • Integrity and Audit Services Form
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
  • Criminal Background Check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years)
  • Education Verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED)

  • Joint Commission CORE Exam within last year
  • NSO (National Sex Offender) check within 30 days of start
  • System Access Form completed one week before start
