Job Description / Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, temperature) and patient consciousness during recovery from anesthesia.
• Ensure airway patency and adequate respiratory function; intervene promptly in case of obstruction or respiratory distress.
• Administer medications (painkillers, anti-nausea drugs, fluids) to manage post-operative symptoms and maintain patient comfort.
• Assess surgical sites for bleeding or complications, check dressings, and perform physical assessments.
• Recognize adverse reactions to anesthesia or surgery and initiate emergency interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members regarding patient condition and care plans.
