Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN Step Down)
Location: Elmira, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Job Description
- Patient care in Step Down unit
- Tasks include ACLS, pushing, pulling, lifting, medication administration, assessments, and care plans
- Nurse-to-patient ratios:
- Step Down: 3:1
- Day shift: 5:1
- Night shift: 7:1
- Emphasis on communication and teamwork
Required Qualifications
Licensure
- Valid New York RN license (State License Verification required)
Certifications
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- 8 Hours of Stroke Training (including NIHSS)
- Arnot Skills Checklist (unit-specific, updated annually)
- Arnot Core Competency Exam (must score 80% or higher)

- MMR immunity (positive IgG titer or 2 vaccine series)
