    Job Description

    Seeking a Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for day shifts, Monday through Friday. Must hold all required certifications and licenses relevant to the role.


    Required Qualifications

    • License: Valid RN license for California (Nursys verification required)
    • Certifications:
      • ACLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
      • BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
      • DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention training)
    • Exams and Testing:
      • Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (minimum 80%)
      • Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening (minimum 80%)
      • Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80%)
      • Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80%)
      • Prime Skills Checklist (no expiration on assignment)
    • Professional Requirements:
      • Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid for 2 years)
      • Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport
      • Prime OIG exclusion check
      • Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion check
      • Prime Criminal Background Check (within one year of start date)
      • Prime Resume (up-to-date at offer acceptance)
      • Two professional references (one from a manager or direct supervisor)
      • Prime Education Verification (diploma or transcripts)
      • Prime Job Description signed by employee
      • Prime Agency Attestation (completed after all credentials uploaded)
      • Prime Badge Photo (clear headshot)
      • Prime Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification)

    Health and Immunization Requirements

    • COVID-19 Vaccine: 2 doses plus booster or completed declination
    • MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer showing immunity
    • Hepatitis B: Vaccination required; declinations not accepted
    • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31); declinations not accepted
    • TB Test: Within 1 year of start date
    • Varicella: Vaccination or titer showing immunity
    • Tdap: Adult vaccination required; declinations not accepted
    • Physical/Health Statement: Annual clearance to work required

    Additional Information

    • Annual Respirator Fit Test required (must be completed prior to start if onsite testing not available)
    • Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC saliva test (California locations only) within 60 days of start
    • Name Verification Affidavit: Optional, for any name discrepancies between credentials
