Travel/Contract ICU Registered Nurse

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Shift: 4x12 hour night shifts, every other weekend

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience (higher value confirmed)
• Strong CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) skills required
• Willingness to float to IMCU (stepdown unit) if needed

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Wisconsin or Compact RN License
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)

Required Qualifications

• 2 professional supervisor references within the last year, including one from the most recent/current assignment
• Must be prepared for a possible video interview shortly after application submission

Background & Health Requirements

• 7-year background check including SS trace, county searches, nationwide sex offender check
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (Chest X-Ray acceptable if within 60 days)
• Immunizations or positive titers required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen with expanded opiates within 14 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct-Mar)

Additional Competencies & Documentation

• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Annual skills checklist
• Photo for badge (passport style, no filters)
• Compliance checklist and confidentiality statement to be completed prior to start
