Job Description
- Seeking an experienced evening shift Emergency Department (ED) nurse.
- Work in a 48 treatment space ED.
- Patient ratio approximately 1:5.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Specialty: RN Emergency Room
- Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated, assume minimum 1+ year ED nursing experience (default to typical for specialty).

- TB Test: Annual requirement with specific testing protocols.
- Varicella: Positive IgG titer or 2 vaccine series required.
- Tdap: Preferred within last 10 years or specific declination form.
- Physical/Health Statement: Completed within last 12 months, including vitals and vision test.
- Agency Drug Screen: 9+ panel drug screen within 30 days of start.
- Agency Background Check: Comprehensive background check within 30 days of start.
Documentation & Verification
- Driver’s License or State ID (valid, unexpired).
- Resume covering last 7 years of employment and education.
- Two professional references (one within last 12 months, one within last 3 years).
- Employment verification (agency verification required for travelers).
- Education verification (initial degree in nursing field).
- Signed job description.
- Various Arnot Health forms and acknowledgments (personal information, code of conduct, sexual harassment acknowledgment, parking registration, etc.).
- 7 Instant Background Checks (including NYOMIG, OFAC, OIG, NSO, SAM, and state registries).
Additional Notes
- Must be able to work evening shifts.
- Patient ratio is approximately 1 nurse to 5 patients.
- Compliance with all credentialing and onboarding requirements is mandatory prior to start.
