Job Details

• Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
• Schedule: Every Other Weekend (Saturday/Sunday), Every Other Week (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH)
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• Specialty Experience Required: Acute inpatient rehabilitation, blood glucose monitoring, and care/management of ports
• Charge Nurse Experience: Preferred but not required
• Floating: Not required
• Call: No call required
• Block Scheduling: Not accommodated
• First Time Travelers: Accepted

Required Licenses & Certifications

• License: Valid Pennsylvania RN license or Compact RN license
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA preferred
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - as applicable
  • Other certifications may be required based on unit assignment

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of rehabilitation experience, with rehabilitation experience within the last year
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

• No floating or call responsibilities
• Weekend work required every other weekend
• Block scheduling is not available
• Return to Office (RTO) documentation required at time of submission
• Pass/fail competency exams including medication/pharmacology and EKG/dysrhythmia required
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgment and other facility-specific documents required prior to start

Notes for Candidates

• Prior travel experience is not required; first-time travelers are accepted
• Charge nurse experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Candidates must be able to meet all compliance and credentialing requirements prior to start
• This is a night shift position with a focus on acute inpatient rehabilitation nursing care
