Job Opportunity: Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Crescent City, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
Seeking a Chemo Certified Infusion Registered Nurse for day shifts.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 days of 8-hour shifts starting at 8 AM
- Occasional weekends may be required
Required Certifications & Licenses
- California RN License
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
- ONS Chemo Therapy Immunotherapy Provider Card
Additional certifications may be required depending on the position, such as:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- CCRN (Critical Care RN)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Minimum of 1 year of infusion experience, with infusion experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Background & Screening Requirements
- 7-year background check required within 6 months of start
- FACIS Level 3 screening required within 2 weeks of start and monthly thereafter
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required and updated annually
- Education verification required (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred)
- Sex Offender Search within 90 days of start
- Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids due to CA law)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually (with accommodations for religious exemptions)
- Immunizations and titers required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- TB screening and annual renewal (negative QGold or TSPOT within 90 days or PPDs)
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (proof of immunity or vaccination series)
- Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov-April) or signed declination with mask requirement
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually
Health & Compliance Documents
- TB Questionnaire within 90 days of start, renewed annually
- Physical exam clearance required
- Drug testing clearance required
- Immunization records and titers as listed above
- Fit mask test and respiratory safety clearance
- Candidate must review and sign various facility-specific policies and conduct documents prior to start

- 2 professional references required for clinical positions (within 3 years)
