Job Opportunity: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Travel)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

Work schedule includes every other week (EOW) and every other hour (EOH) shifts.
Rotation involves 4 weeks of nights followed by 4 weeks of days, or vice versa.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with recent ED experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Required Credentials and Compliance

Professional photo (color, recent within 6 months, plain background, no glasses).
Primary source verification of RN license (no conditional licenses accepted).
N95 respirator fit test within 1 year of start date, updated annually.
Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity.
Influenza vaccine required during flu season (no exemptions).
TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test), updated if break >6 months.
Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 1 year.
Criminal background checks including state and national registries, updated as required.
Documentation of work experience and education for the past 7 years.
Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor.
Skills checklist completed within 1 year.
Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance.
Additional immunizations recommended: Hepatitis B (strongly preferred), Tdap (preferred).
Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required.
Education verification to confirm highest level achieved.

Additional Notes

No religious or medical exemptions allowed for N95 fit testing or influenza vaccine.
All background and exclusion checks must be cleared prior to start.
Documentation must be current and updated as specified to maintain compliance.

This position is ideal for experienced ER RNs seeking a travel assignment with a structured rotation schedule in a major metropolitan area.
