Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Joplin, Missouri

Job Details

Shift: Days, 3x12 hour shifts (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: As required by facility
Call Requirements: As required by facility

Number of Beds: 11 Operating Rooms
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Equipment: Stryker
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
Type of Patients: Surgery – Operating Room

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Requirements

Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1 (exemptions must be approved)
Must utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability
Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality
Adhere to facility dress code: Ceil Blue scrubs (supplied)

Work Environment & Culture

Provides care in a Level 2 Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI Center
Facility maintains high safety and quality ratings
Emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care consistent with organizational values and standards
