Job Opportunity: RN Med Surg Telemetry

Location: Waco, Texas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with healthcare team members.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience, with telemetry experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

• Onboarding includes completion of required education attestations and contract worker onboarding.
• Various health and compliance documents must be updated regularly and maintained throughout the assignment.
• Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations is essential.
