    Job Opportunity: Step Down Registered Nurse

    Location: San Francisco, California
    Employment Type: Travel/Contract
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Description

    Provide comprehensive patient- and family-centered care within the scope and standards of professional nursing practice. This role is for a PCU/Stepdown RN working in an 8-bed MST overflow unit.

    Shift:

    • 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
    • Rotating weekends
    • No on-call requirements

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid RN license in California
    • Minimum 1 year of Stepdown nursing experience within the last year
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
    • Medication Administration by Delegation (MAB)
    • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification
    • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
