Job Opportunity: Med/Surg RN

Location: Akron, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Specialty: Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Job Description

Position on a Medical/Surgical unit.
Interview required prior to placement.
Must be able to float to other units as needed.
Must be able to work every other weekend.
Solid black scrubs required.
No block schedule requests accepted.
Return to Office (RTO) documentation required at submission, with a maximum of 7 days allowed off. No RTO allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment.
Resume must include recent (within last 12 months) experience with Epic electronic health record system and phlebotomy.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience.
Medical/Surgical nursing experience within the last 12 months.
Phlebotomy (drawing blood) experience within the last 12 months, with at least 2 years of recent experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
