Job Opportunity: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse position on a rotating day/night shift (7pm-7:30am / 7am-7:30pm).
- Shifts may vary to meet operational needs; facility will attempt to honor preferred shifts but reserves the right to rotate.
- Must work at least every other holiday.
- Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition test and medication safety exam (SafeMedicate) with required passing scores.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Minimum 18 months (1.5 years) of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
- Total nursing experience of 18 months or more
- Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current NIHSS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
