Description
Registered Nurse - OB/GYN ER Triage
Location: Jackson, Mississippi
Job Description
- Work in a 10-bed OB/GYN ER triage unit that handles female health emergency patients, including OB/GYN, Labor & Delivery, and some med-surg/female health cases.
- Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 3 patients.
- 12-hour shifts with rotation on weekends and holidays alongside permanent staff.
- No on-call responsibilities.
- Must be EPIC proficient; no EPIC training provided during orientation.
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced rate.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Mississippi
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
- OB/GYN experience
- Experience with Epic
- Certifications required:
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Contract Length
- Approximately 15 weeks.
Additional Information
- 12-hour day shifts.
- Rotation includes weekends and holidays.
- No call duties.
