Job Opportunity: Utilization Review Nurse (Registered Nurse)
Location: Orange, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- In-person position, Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays.
- Pre-approved time off allowed up to 5 days during the contract.
- Requires high proficiency in EPIC and InterQual systems for clinical review and medical necessity determination.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Minimum 1 year of Utilization Review experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
Additional Information
- Orientation and onboarding are conducted onsite; includes completion of modules and competency testing.
- Candidates must sign various acknowledgments including HIPAA, workplace violence prevention, and facility-specific policies.
- Badge and identification requirements include government-issued photo ID and facility badge.
- No remote work option; fully onsite role.
