Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide inpatient obstetrics care in Labor and Delivery or antepartum units.
- Minimum of 2 years of OB inpatient experience required.
- Schedule: Every Other Week (EOW), 3 shifts of 12 hours each, day and night rotation.
- Shift details and rotation cadence to be discussed during the interview.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in an inpatient setting
Additional Information
- Some vaccinations and health requirements are strongly preferred but optional (e.g., Hepatitis B, Tdap).
- If positive TB test, documentation of a negative chest x-ray is required.
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit testing is needed.
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for fit testing.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
Summary
This is a 13-week long-term assignment for an experienced Labor and Delivery RN with at least 2 years of inpatient OB experience. The role involves rotating 12-hour day and night shifts every other week. Candidates must meet comprehensive health, immunization, licensing, and background check requirements. Neonatal resuscitation certification and N95 fit testing are mandatory.
